Today’s Swiss Pairs event comprises seven 7-board
matches, organised into two sessions:

• 1.00pm – 4.45pm [matches 1-4]
• 4.45pm – 5.45pm [Supper Break]
• 5.45pm – 8.45pm [matches 5-7]

with prize-giving taking place at approximately 9.00pm.

The event is assigned on a current-round basis, i.e. your
opponents for each round are determined by your overall
score at the end of the round just completed. Your next-
round assignments are notified via your Bridgemate and via
the Bridgemate app guide card. Results will also be
uploaded to the Bridgemate app on a continuing basis.

Each board is match-pointed across the field, and each
pair’s percentage for the seven boards is converted into VPs
using the scale below
